Dr. Melanie Parker and our team are so excited about our latest upcoming community service opportunity – our team will be volunteering with Feeding America San Diego on Saturday, December 6 to help sort food at the food bank!
Feeding America is a nonprofit organization that seeks to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks, and engage our country in the fight to end hunger, according to the organization’s website.
We’re collecting food donations in our office, and we’d like to invite our patients to join us in volunteering next month! Most needed items include peanut butter, canned tuna, canned white meat chicken, canned fruits in natural juices, or canned chicken, tomato, or vegetable soup.
